5.2 af100（advant field）/mb90（master bus）总线
af100/mb90的目的是提供在多个apc站点之间或在apc站点与abb工业系统设备之间的通讯，mb90支持两个不同类型的通讯、数据处理和信息发送，数据集是动态的数据，用来监视和控制某个处理过程，这个过程是服务信息用作参数化法，程序安装、诊断。af100/mb90是一个高性能的区域总线，能够连接79个apc站点。mb90可达300米，而如果装备了适当的信号电缆和信号中继器，并且在单个传动设备之间长距离的配置是可用的，可达2000米。总线的技术特点
（1） 通讯速率1.5mbit/s
（2） 衰减总线长度＜300m，增殖延迟《2000m

af100/mb90依靠一个集中的总线管理器，总线管理器功能是比较复杂的，要求也较多，例如：apc站点不能用作总线管理器，它们不包含总线管理器的功能。为使通过af100/mb90的apc之间的如何通讯变为可能，每个解决方案（和嵌入）都可用来安排af100/mb90的总线主机，当apc开始执行它们的应用程序，总线主机是可操作的，否则，当本地配置的数据集在规定时间内没有被总线管理器确认，在apc支内的数据集功能块将进入错误状态。，如果系统只有apc站点，没有masterpiece与mb90或a50与af100相连，应安装一个的总线管理器。
